David Callahan is Vice President of External Affairs with JKLM Energy, LLC. JKLM is an independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company with a highly experienced technical staff based in Franklin Park, PA and Coudersport, PA. JKLM has a leasehold position of more than 120,000 acres located solely in Potter County, PA. The company is currently drilling, completing, and producing wells in the Burkett, Marcellus, and Utica formations. David develops and implements strategic plans for JKLM’s political, government, media, and community activities. He has nearly thirty years of experience in the field of external affairs, in which he has represented a number of energy interests, including natural gas utilities, interstate pipelines, energy marketers, producers, and midstream providers. David represented his employers and clients before seven state governments as well as the federal government. He has actively engaged, and taken leadership positions, in national and state oil and gas trade associations. David earned a BA from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an MA from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
